The reason why I love being apart of Threads of Care is because of the impact it has on my community. Threads of Care gives struggling people the chance to make a change. Giving a struggling person clothing can change their life. It gives them one less thing to worry about, confidence, and a better outlook on life. With ambition and the opportunity given to people by Threads of Care, they can better their lives.
Not only does Threads of Care affect the community, but it also has an impact on the people right beside me. Each year, our chapter at Independence continues to grow and reach more people. Seeing our members work hard to give back to our community really inspires me to do more for the people around me. This organization has given me and those around me the chance to make a huge difference. It has given us the opportunity to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. I’m very grateful to be apart of Threads of care, and I hope that I can continue to make a difference to the people around me.
